Glazed and chrome nails

Pearly and mirrored toppers worn over a neutral base: the glazed doughnut finish, pearl washes, full mirror chrome and liquid metal drops. These are rubbed on rather than painted — a chrome powder buffed into a cured, tacky top coat with a silicone applicator, then sealed again straight away. The base underneath decides everything, so the same powder over a nude, a cocoa and a cobalt gives three different finishes.
